This letter I wrote to the Greyhound Bus Company explains their abusive and fraudulent practices: To the Greyhound Company, On Sunday, May 12, my bus (Booking No.: 3160923101) from Framingham, MA to Lee, MA was supposed to depart at 2:45pm from the Framingham Station, I arrived at 2:30pm. There were 4 other people waiting with me for the same bus. The website indicated the bus was delayed 2 hours, so we waited until 4:45pm but still the bus was not there at 4:45pm. At 5:15pm I decided to call a taxi and go home and from my home, I decided to drive to Lee, MA in my own car. On Monday, May 13, I requested a refund from Greyhound, and their response was that I boarded the bus at 4:45pm therefore I am not entitled to a refund. This is an abusive and fraudulent practice and I am demanding an apology and a full refund of my ticket. At this point, I am not doing it for the $31.48 that I lost but for the modus operandi of a company without principles who doesn’t care about their customers. I am attaching the receipt from the taxi that picked me up at 5:31pm from the Framingham station and the receipt from the EZ Pass Mass Pike toll indicating that my car took exit 2 in Lee, MA at 7:12pm on May 12th.

Not only was the bus in disgusting condition. Dust piled so thick, missing light covers with disgusting molded looking particles, a loose panel that made a loud cracking sound every single we hit even the smallest bump, and a dirty sock crammed into a light socket. When brought to the attention of the company they just kept saying they could not give my money back. So I asked to refund my ticket that has not been used to make other travel arrangements and they would not do that either. Greyhound is no longer leading the pack in the bus travel industry. Their facilities are sub par. Bus are not even that and the customer service totally sucks. Travel Amtrack! The train is nice and roomy. The train is clean and it’s a comfortable ride. I wouldn’t send my dog on a greyhound. Wish I could attach the photos. Hit me up if you need to see them’

Bus was seven hours late, which ruined my one night trip. The communication around this was terrible, I waited 4 hours before they told us it’d be 3 more, which meant my plans were no longer feasible. I wrote to customer service requesting a refund, they refused a refund or voucher of any kind, partial or full. Never doing this again, and warning all my friends.
